Crafted with nylon material and a nickel metal clasp in a buckle design, these beads feature a cord chain and bead chain construction, without any gemstones. Handmade in the USA using American-sourced products by disabled veterans, the Ranger Pace Counting Beads boast a 550-pound strength paracord and a 3/8-inch ABS plastic buckle, ensuring a smooth sliding motion of the beads.

The sizing of these pace counter bracelets is adjustable to fit your wrist comfortably. To achieve a snug fit, measure your wrist and add 1/2 inch; for a more comfortable fit, add 1 inch. Please note that the bracelets are intentionally left ungutted, with the inner strands left intact, to ensure optimal performance. If you prefer a bracelet that slides effortlessly, you can request a custom order to have the inner strands removed.

The Ranger Pace Counting Beads are manual counting tools designed to keep track of the distance traveled through a pace count. The system consists of 13 or more beads divided into two sections, with 9 beads in the lower section and 4 or more beads in the upper section. This design was originally developed by the military.

To use the beads, first measure out 100 meters and walk the entire distance, counting each time your left foot touches the ground. Use your typical stride and pace to ensure an accurate count. Each of the bottom beads represents 100 meters traveled, and each of the top beads represents 1 kilometer traveled. As you cover the distance, slide one bead from the bottom section down for every 100 meters. Once all 9 beads from the bottom section have been used, slide one of the top beads down to indicate that you have traveled an additional 100 meters, or 1 kilometer.

The separator between the two sections is adjustable, allowing you to customize the configuration to suit your specific counting needs. If you require more or fewer beads, or a different arrangement, the manufacturer offers customization options to meet your requirements.
